What is oVertone? Is it dye?

oVertone hair colors are color-depositing hair masks that condition while you color. oVertone Coloring Conditioners are vegan and cruelty-free, curly-friendly. They are made without peroxide, ammonia, bleach, phthalates, parabens, and PPDs.

What is the difference between Coloring and Daily Conditioner?

Coloring Conditioners are applied for initial color application and need to be reapplied every 1-2 weeks. Daily Conditioners help to maintain your shade in between color applications and can be used in the shower in 3 minutes or less.

How long does it last?

The duration of oVertone in your hair depends on the porosity, texture, and health of your hair, UV exposure levels, and your shampooing frequency. Due to being semi-permanent, oVertone may leave a subtle permanent tint.

Do I need to bleach first?

For Pastel shades, pre-lightening is recommended, even for natural blondes. If you have dark brown or black hair and want vivid results, pre-lightening is necessary to achieve bold color payoff.
